About Me

I was born on the summer day of the '60 age in Nagoya City,Japan. Saved by music though it was an emotionally unstable infant stage.

I met "THE BEATLES" at the age of 13.
It was so much impact.
Then, I started the guitar at once.
And, won a prize in the band contest, and acted in a lot of stages. (valuable success experience of early manhood) The composition of writing songs began at the same time.

I moved to Tokyo in the 1980's,
and begins to sing to in Shimo-Kitazawa, Shibuya, Shinjuku,,,etc.
(singer-songwriter [Oka-Yoshi] was born)

Afterwards, I returned to my hometown "Nagoya".
The event planning and the sound production work, etc. I challenged variously.

1990's I found employment in the public relations firm.
Every day busy as a copywriter and creative director.

A very long blank has passed...

The music creation as the lifework was restarted in 2007. And, I started up activity at the same time as a ukulele player.
(ukulele [JUKE] was born)

13歳でビートルズを知り、POP MUSICの洗礼を受ける
すぐにバンド結成、某コンテストで準優勝し、ライブ活動スタート！
（青春期の貴重な成功体験）

同時期に作詞作曲を開始

'80年代に単身上京し、東京・下北沢に暮らしつつ、
渋谷・新宿など多々で歌い始める。
（うたうたい・オカヨシ誕生）

その後、基盤を故郷・ナゴヤに戻す
イベント企画やプロデュースにも手を広げ
借金と格闘しつつ音楽家の道を歩む

'90年代・・・広告業界へ転身
コピーライター、クリエイティブ・ディレクターとして多忙な毎日。

・・・幾多の波乱万丈を乗り越え

・・・永いブランクを経て・・・

2007年よりライフワークとしての音楽創作を再開
同時にウクレレ弾きとしても活動をスタート
（ウクレレ・ジューク誕生）
